Al-Ghazali Program - the color of paradise

The Al-Ghazali Program in Islamic Studies will host a cultural event on campus this Friday, October 12, 2018, at 7 p.m., featuring the award-winning drama The Color of Paradise, by acclaimed director Majid Majidi. The film tells the story of a blind child in rural Iran who struggles to understand the meaning of human suffering. After the film, Al-Ghazali Distinguished Professor in Islamic Studies Dr. Cyrus Ali Zargar will deliver a lecture on the themes of the movie.

This film screening is sponsored by The Al Ghazali Islamic Studies Program in collaboration with Kurdish Political Studies Program (KPSP), Department of Modern Languages & Literatures, Middle Eastern Studies Program, and Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Program for Strategic Research and Studies (PMBF Program).
