On the heels of accepting an editor position on the board of the Journal of American Academy of Religion (the most prestigious journal in the field of religious studies), Dr. Ann Gleig will be attending two prominent conferences in Australia the first week of November, including the Australasian Association of Buddhist Studies Conference and the University of West Sydney Religion and Society Research Cluster.
She is very excited and honored to be traveling to Australia to give research talks on her new book which focuses on current developments in American Buddhism. She will be giving three talks on the topics of racial justice work and generational shifts in American Buddhism.
