Brenna Egan and Nátalia Marques da Silva received the Order of Pegasus, UCF’s most prestigious student award. President John C. Hitt and Provost and Executive Vice President Terry Hickey were in attendance to congratulate the 2010 inductees and assist with the presentation of their award medals.

Brenna Egan is a dual major in legal studies and English. She is a member of the UCF Mock Trial team and a volunteer in the Seminole County Victim-Witness Program. She will attend Georgetown Law School to pursue a legal career.

Nátalia Marques da Silva is an art history major, is a Ronald E. McNair Scholar serving as a teaching assistant and a senior scholar mentor, Research and Mentoring Program Scholar, and a member of the Student Undergraduate Research Council. She plans to attend graduate school for museum studies and anthropology.

The Order of Pegasus is the highest honor the university gives to students. It recognizes outstanding graduating seniors and graduate students who have demonstrated exemplary involvement, leadership, academic achievement and community service. This year, sixteen students were selected to receive the prestigious award.
