Caitlin Lochner, an MFA – Creative Writing student published her first novel, A Soldier and a Liar, this month. She’s on a speaking engagement tour including the Colonial Plaza Barnes & Noble on Friday, February 22.
“It’s rare for a student to have a publishing deal before starting her MFA, and Caitlin is a true professional,” said Brenda Peynado, an assistant professor in the Department of English at UCF. “I’m confident Caitlin will be a prolific force in YA literature.”
