The UCF School of Visual Arts & Design announces the latest winners of the J.R. Hopes Art “Eye for Broadway” Art Competition.
The competition invites SVAD students to create art inspired by upcoming Broadway performances at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Winners receive $500, and the chosen artworks will be displayed in the Dr. Phillips venue during the run of their respective Broadway shows.
In addition, Robert Nicholson’s poster for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was named “Best of Show” for the 2014-15 Broadway season.

The awards, sponsored by Jim Hopes, are dedicated to nurturing young artists at UCF, encouraging them to make an impact in the Orlando community and beyond.
