Lisa Nalbone’s English translation of the short story “Rompecabezas” by Benito Pérez Galdós was commissioned by the Las Palmas, Gran Canaria University Press for publication. Nalbone is an associate professor of Spanish in the UCF Department of Modern Languages & Literature,
This short story is part of a multilingual translation from the original Spanish. The publication includes Nalbone’s translation, as well as others’ translations into Italian, French and German. It was one of the featured texts at the virtual Feria del Libro de Frankfurt (Frankfurt Book Fair) on October 14-18.
