Congratulations to Texts and Technology student Sonia Stephens, winner of the CAH 2011-2012 Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching, and alumni Stacey DiLiberto, Ph.D., winner of the CAH 2011-2012 Award for Innovative Dissertation.
Sonia Stephen’s interests are in the broad field of science communication, particularly in using digital tools to communicate about science and ecology. Her current research focuses on using digital tools to expand the range of visual metaphors we use for science communication. In her dissertation project, Sonia is developing an interactive visualization about avian evolution as a communication and education tool.
Stacey DiLiberto recently earned her doctorate, graduating from the program this past fall.
