With a Little Help... It's John Belushi

Keith Saltojanes to make his Off-Broadway debut in With a Little Help… It’s John Belushi!

Keith Saltojanes ’06 (Theatre Studies, B.A.) will make his Off-Broadway debut in With a Little Help… It’s John Belushi! playing Danny Aykroyd this December after completing performances in L.A. at the Whitefire Theatre.

John Belushi rose from indie college performer in 1968 to American entertainment icon in just 12 years.

This award winning multi media show takes the audience on the journey of his rise in this narrative multi media piece complete with live music, videos and stage sweat.

Halle Kilman ’18 (Theatre Studies, B.A.) has taken on new role as Assistant General Manager and is currently working on two Broadway productions, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! and Jagged Little Pill. What does an Assistant General manager do? They do everything from contracts and cashflows to engaging with agents, actors, company managers, producers and creative teams. “Seeing how multiple productions and creative teams approach their work has helped me learn about my own management style,” says Kilman. “I feel extremely grateful to be in the room with such brilliant minds that are willing to teach and share their experiences.”

Ivon Millan featured in new horror film, Do Not Reply, making its east coast premiere at Orlando Film Festival

Before its 2020 release, Do Not Reply made its east coast premiere at the Orlando Film Festival October 22 and 24. Ivon Millan ’12 (Theatre Studies, B.A., Cinema Studies Minor) is featured in the film as the character Mia. Watch the trailer here (view discretion is advised). The film was nominated for Best Director and Best Cinematographer at the awards.


Femmbot PhD

Nicky Urban performs and writes with Femmebot PhD comedy group

Nicky Urban ’07 (Theatre Studies, B.A., Philosophy, Religion & Pop Culture Minor), known for her spots on Tosh.O, performs with “The bots” live onstage monthly to sold out crowds at LA’s hottest new alt comedy theater, The Pack.

Femmebot PhD has received national attention from sites like Funny or Die, Comedy Cake and WhoHaHa.com.
