April 24, 2019  Two faculty members from the History Department presented digital media projects at UCF Celebrates the Arts 2019. Robert Cassanello presented the “Jones High School Digital History exhibit,” and Yovanna Pineda presented “The Middle Passage: Virtual Reality Experience.” 

UCF professor showcases artwork on veterans and family

April 24, 2019  Artist Kevin Haran gave a “lunch and learn” lecture highlighting his exhibition of art, Materiel: Sculptures and Works on Paper. Presented by the UCF Community Veterans History Project and the UCF Veterans Academic Resource Center, Haran’s talk focused on his influences and methods of creating art .

A’Lelia Bundles, the great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker, spoke on the theme “Raising Our Voices: Madam C.J. Walker’s Legacy of Leadership, Activism and Education.”
