UCF jazz guitar instructor, Bobby Koelble, has been absent from Orlando for the last month to tour with the band Death to All, an all-star tribute to the work of legendary Orlando musician Chuck Schuldiner. “Koelble and Schuldiner, who passed away in 2001, were friends going back to high school. In short, he’s a natural fit to keep the fell torch burning for this particular era of Death,” reports Orlando Weekly. “The quartet were on the road from the beginning of March until last weekend on an intense coast-to-coast tour.”
Koelble spoke with Orlando Weekly about what this tour means to him and how he balances being a jazz instructor and playing death metal.
