The Lucie Foundation is an international organization dedicated to supporting emerging photographers worldwide. Assistant Professor of Photography Brooks Dierdorff states: “I am excited to be in this pool. “ The Award selects individuals to create or continue a project focused on creating a story through a conceptual Fine Art approach.
The Lucie Foundation mission is to honor master photographers, discover and cultivate emerging talent and promote the appreciation of photography worldwide.
Brooks recently participated in Punctum: 20th Annual Photography Exhibition at the Photo Center Northwest in Seattle. Juried by Julia Dolan, the Minor White Curator of Photography at the Portland Art Museum, the exhibition featured a wide range of visually rich images from artists across the world.
