An article by Sean Ironman (Creative Writing M.F.A. ’14) was recently published in The Writer’s Chronicle, the national magazine from the Association of Writers & Writing Programs.

“Writing the Z-Axis: Reflection and the Nonfiction Workshop” appears in the September 2014 issue. For over four decades, The Writer’s Chronicle has served as a leading source of articles, news, and information for writers, editors, students, and teachers of writing.

Sean is now a Visiting Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Creative Writing at the University of Central Arkansas. His work, in the form of essays, comics, book reviews, and art, has been published in a variety of outlets including Redivider, Thoreau’s Rooster, and The Florida Review.

He was recently awarded an Honorable Mention in Creative Nonfiction in AWP’s Intro Journals Project Awards. In 2013, he won 2nd prize in UCF’s “Why Writing Matters” contest.
