Where Is Alice?, a short film written and directed by award-winning director Zachary Beckler, premieres this weekend at the Florida Film Festival. Zachary is a Film B.F.A. graduate and current M.F.A. student in UCF’s School of Visual Arts & Design.

The film will screen at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 13 at Regal Cinemas Winter Park Village.

In this horror-inspired short, a man visits an elderly woman in a mental health institution to ask questions about her past only to awaken something inhuman.

It was chosen by the jury of the 22nd Brouhaha Film and Video Showcase to represent the “Best of Brouhaha” and is an official selection of the 2014 Florida Film Festival.

Where Is Alice? is a continuation of Beckler’s previous films, his M.F.A. feature INTERIOR and Séance, a Film B.F.A. thesis project. Séance was a Jury Winner at Enzian’s 20th Annual Brouhaha Film and Video Showcase.
