Theatre UCF returned to live performance this week — in a different-than-usual place with a different sort of show.

“Although masked, Tori Micaletti conveys optimism with eyes and eyebrows on the peppy ‘Orange Colored Sky.’ Alexa Comeau shares the excitement of a young woman who has just met her Mr. Right in ‘I Remember,’ a lesser-known musical by Stephen Sondheim.”

“Karlo Buxo-Morales creates a beautifully musical ‘Beautiful City,’ from ‘Godspell,’ making good use of dynamics and demonstrating he knows how to make phrases like ‘bitter and battered’ pop. Woodrow Jackson-Helms keeps control of the swooping phrases in Irving Berlin’s ‘Blue Skies.’”
