On September 3, M. Laine Wyatt delivered an Artist Talk at the Southeast Museum of Photography. She was recognized at a reception for her solo photography exhibition Obsessions, Curiosities, and Fancies.
The exhibition, which runs until September 21, features photographic works drawn from five different series traversing expansive topics: the nature of women’s relationship to clothing, the physiological landscape of grief, uninhabited interior public spaces, a contemporary observation of the fair, and evocations of longing.
Wyatt has been exhibiting her work in group and solo exhibitions across the United States and abroad since the early 1980s. She will present a lecture at the museum on Wednesday, September 3 at 6pm.
